Over more than 30 years, Günter has accumulated extensive experience in Private Banking and Asset Management, M&A advisory, Equity Capital Markets transactions and high-profile Corporate Governance positions in leading Austrian companies.

He headed the Privatization & Investment Management department at the Austrian state holding company ÖIAG for 12 years, where he steered several successful privatization transactions, most notably the IPO of Oesterreichische Post, the largest secondary placement on VSE of Telekom Austria shares, the sale of listed VA Technologie to SIEMENS and the takeover of listed Austrian Airlines by Deutsche Lufthansa.

As ÖIAG’s Head of Investment Management activities, he helped shaping the strategy of Austrian blue chips as member of the Supervisory Board of Österr. Post (Member and Financial Expert of its Audit Committee), Telekom Austria (Member), APK Pensionskasse (Deputy Chairman) and APK Versicherung (Chairman). As a result, Günter was able to gain an unparalleled 360-degree view of Corporate Finance and M&A as an advisor, owner representative and member of the company's executive body.
