With more than 25 years of experience, Markus has played a major role in the largest capital market deals at the VSE as well as several transactions ranging from EUR 5m raisings to EUR 1.2bn advisory mandates

Markus worked at Raiffeisen Bank International Group for 14 years focusing on German-speaking regions and CEE. In his key function he headed the Equity Capital Markets team in Austria and CEE from 2006 until 2011 and executed more than 100 transaction at six different stock exchanges

In 2011 Markus was the Co-founder of a Swiss-based advisory and investment banking boutique, and finally in 2016 he became Co-founder and Managing Partner of L42. Further in the past years he supported the portfolio of a Swiss-based business angels club, was the co-founder of an early-stage Venture Capital vehicle in Switzerland and sponsor of several companies, also taking an active role. He is still a regular and active investor and dedicated advisor for his clients
